@Drahakar m_memberName looks ugly, membername isn't good because leading underscore is restricted by standard (not for member names, but it's better to use this rule for them too), so I use memberName and privateMemberName

btw, it looks like a forum, rather than chat

defined is a predicate, so you can write
#if defined(some) || defined(another)

I can see how that would come in handy
