So I am confirmed for an event at an FANNG company Australia headquarter in Sydney. But this event has been taken off their official website a few days ago. I was also supposed to receive details of the event which is going to take place in less than 48 hours, but received nothing. They have sent me a reminder of the event a day ago without any further information. I have contemplated whether this is a joke, but it's not yet April fools day.

@TelKitty FAANG is no guarantee that the company is well managed...

Back when MS was "on top of the world" I used to point out that they didn't get there by being especially well run, only by shooting themselves in the foot marginally less often and with slightly smaller caliber weaponry than their competitors. I haven't looked as closely, but would tend to guess the same applies to FAANG.

@KarolyHorvath This isn't needed because the header parts of the libstdc++ provide sufficient coverage. In practice you can't get the entire transitive closure under thread sanitization hacks.
