When I try to 'ssh pi@debrain' on my mac I am getting: 'ssh: Could not resolve hostname debrain: nodename nor servname provided, or not known'
But when I tried with the IP address on the local network, I am getting: 'This host key is known by the following other names/addresses: ~/.ssh/known_hosts:43: debrain'
It used to work ... until I start to use the hotspot on a new mobile.
This is awkward, I have finally solved it .. but it's a weird solution.
rPi's hostname is mapped to deBrain, so at first ssh pi@deBrain worked ... until it didn't (because I changed router IIRC). Then ssh pi@debrain worked until I changed mobile, thus a different hotspot. So now, ssh pi@deBrain.local works. Not sure hostnames are cached and can not be reused or something.
