does it make sense for a class that contains pure virtual functions and is derriving from a base class that contains the functions with implementation to be declared as a pointer, and then later on deallocated as the base class?

@Xeo Their bar for good standing is too low. I'm in favor or adopting the script from the JS chat room and going into permanent gallery mode. That way we can finally kick people out for good.
