I just realized that my tree-based-vector can safely handle exceptions being thrown during erase and clear operations (just not the destructor), and leaves the container in a well-defined state. But I think it makes the code slightly uglier, and results in more template instantiations. Should I remove that functionality for simpler/smaller code? It might be convenient to have a container that can handle that situation (other than it's destructor).
