Q: Is it dehumanizing to ask if someone is a Bot?

I was in a chatroom talking about how much I love StackOverflow and it's moderators and somebody asked if I was a bot. I took this harshly but at the same time, it strangely didn't trigger any type of emotional reaction at all, more or less a hollow feeling. Understandably I and Bots share quit...
