Sounds like a bad idea. Wastes bandwidth on mobiles, demands more attention than it should (unless you do want to block intoxicated people), is susceptible to banner blindness and asks for compatibility issues (even if my browser has the right codec, I betcha my toaster would render it at 0.5 FPS when in a bad mood).

Ok lets say you build a site where people can make an account and do stuff
Than it would be easy for me to create a bot the creates accounts for your site, you don't want that
So you add a video captcha
To prevent that
