It is a solution, but it's not front end

It's usually a server-side language for outputting HTML, which is considered server-side.

PHP is a server-side script, it requires an Apache server to compile and execute it, it's not a front-end solution. your browser cannot compile and execute the PHP scripts.

And since you have a C# interface already it wouldn't be that efficient to then duplicate it in PHP

But each time it's met with silence.. which means I'm most likely going to have to duplicate your effort so that the data is free and queryable to anyone who wants it

At this point I'd rather just re-write it so everyone can see/contribute to it rather than having it closed source on someones desktop

Though now it's clear since I've point blank asked to see the code and you refuse, that you'd rather keep it closed source. That's fine, I don't mind. But when you take that route you can't expect people to help out.

then you can connect C# to an API, or to ASP.NET

Can anyone put a simple whatever lamp stack thing together to allow a selection of a tag (java whatever) and render a grid

Just the GUI of a grid. angular whatever. I do all the backend middle ware. Just someone that can do this fed to a browser

We probably don't need your C# code at the moment, but we need an agreeable format to communicate between your C# output and the one used on for web (e.g. JSON)
