There was no bug. In order to debug, I had added some System.out.println() after the exception being thrown. I was getting those breakpoints printed exactly once. Kinda losing hope. $NewMember comes from a ForEach looping over data imported with Import-CSV. inb4 there is that one very specific bug that only happens in my very specific use-case
