There's a principle called "Be respectful of others." Deleting messages from people just because you disagree with them is not respectful of them.

I'd be ok with it if I could go start my own room that I could run better, but SO has effectively given you a monopoly on the room subject. Consider that you're rebuking a SO contributor in the top 2% with his Python gold badge.

And that contributor is telling you that you're wrong.
