@MartijnPieters it's pretty telling that my post has four times as many points as the next most popular: something's gone pretty wrong with the Triage and Help queues, whatever their original intentions.
I went back and looked at the two posts I made about the Triage queue when it came out, and they basically call out what would happen when this queue was finally implemented.
"The intentions of the two buttons are unclear, we're going to mark stuff for improvement when it should be closed." and "It's way too hard to close stuff in the queue, people are going to take the easy way out."

Ah. This answer makes it a little clear. If you want to do heavy CPU Bound operations go for multiprocessing. I think the name itself is supposed to be a clue.

it's some extra stress to really line up work, but i found a great accountant and i think i found a relatively long-lived contract, and I worked out all the kinks on some smaller work, so i have at least a little idea of how the business works now
