Hey. I am a C++ beginner and I ran into a really small problem. I couldn't find anything about that on Google but that is certainly me lacking the right words. I have an abstract class Neuron from which the classes WorkingNeuron and InputNeuron inherit. I also have a class Connection which has a private member which should be of type WorkingNeuron or InputNeuron.
At the moment (and that is the problem) I just used "Neuron neuron;", hoping that I could set it to subclasses of Neuron. Could anybody point out to me what I am missing/doing wrong, please?
