Has anyone got moderator privileges to migrate this to Ask Ubuntu? In my opinion it's a very good question, just on the incorrect site on the Stack Exchange network.

Q: Login screen keeps coming back (bash_completion related)

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. By accident I deleted /etc/.profile.d/bash_completion.sh. I then restored it by copying that same file from another similar linux machine (same OS). Now I can't login because the login screen keeps coming back after each successful login. Itried both Xubunto session and X...

My last migration took a few weeks to be handled IIRC

I was trying c programming and I wrote a small code but I am unable to understand this #include<stdio.h> int main() { int x,y,z,k; x=y=z=k=1; z=x++||y++&&k++; printf("%d %d %d %d\n",x,y,z,k); } I was expecting output as 2 1 1 2 because the precedence of && is more than || but...
