@rgchris If you or anyone else have "good examples of loop return values being used" I'd like to see them, because right now my focus is on seeing how people can implement customized loop constructs...and trying to make that code less ugly.

What would help a lot would be if you have some time to make a write up of the fundamental problems and questions you faced...what works well and what doesn't in the current system. Right now my examples of user types are the FFI types (including STRUCT!), GOBs, and now this.

I'm still poking at binding. Hit a bit of a wall with virtual binding, but in doing so, found a way to hopefully cut back on the heaviness of the GC load caused by specific binding. It would be very nice to be able to bring that cost down.
