I had this argument of "why store uploaded files outside root" with a friend and I said well because normal website visitors can't access them the normal way, so I guess it's more secure than havin them somewhere like root/assets/uploadedFiles/... and he's like, well you could just prevent access to certain folders. So are there any other reasons why you would upload files to outside the root directory? I've been looking online for ages and I don't know why but I
