When i type a word my search button returns the location of the found word. So for example if my word is at myarr[3], a variable will get the foundat=3; and i will print word[3] and definition[3]

The location of word and definition is the same

I'd use a trie for that... quick to search, duplicates are ignored automatically, and you can store the definitions in it...

if you are building a dictionary, then I would definitely recommend a trie... if you are forced to use an array, then I mean, I guess, but I dunno how you are supposed to do what you want to do

There are no duplicates. for example i search "Java" and it returns me "JDK ( Java Develompent...." because i use contains();

I would recommend hashmap if he wants to store the word and it's meaning together
