Do yo have ever face any situation where the android app is being removed by user from task manager and you had store all running data ?

you mean onStop() called but everything gets null very fast that you don't get a time to store that?

Many of resources are dependent of context, accessing 'em would need context which will be wiped away the time app swiped away ;)

See the point is call back will always get triggered even if it is onPause/onStop/onDestroy or onTaskRemoved

the thing is the amount of time I will need to store the data.

I don't think there might be any time issue

@MukeshRana there is, a data is not just text data in my case, it can be images, videos, audios etc

And these things takes time

For example I have audio recorder which have pause/resume functionality

below API 24 there is no such methods for doing pause/resume. So I had to go for creating multiple files and merging 'em together

and while recording if the user clears the app, I'll lose all the data including audio files I have created

Note: All entered data is stored in an XML formatted schema.

@TheLittleNaruto why don't you save that as multiple files in some particular location inside the SD card with a folder name equals to your current session ?

@ColdFire Ok nothing I am using a cursor adapter the constructor super(context,cursor) is deprecated and the recommended one is CursorAdapter(Context context, Cursor c, int flags), in that one flag is deprecated, it is being advised that to use a cursorloader and pass 0 to the flag, I am a little bit confused over here , from my research the cursor loader is mostly used with Content provider so I don't understand whether is it mandatory to use it or not ?
