@PiYusHGuPtA no m finding out reason that when i do registerReceiver(networkStateReceiver, filter); it called BroadcastReceiver networkStateReceiver = new BroadcastReceiver() { in code above
why that way?
will register call that method? is it default behaviour of android?
Obviously registerReceiver method is a default method for android to register broadcast reciever so when you pass or call object of ur BroadcastReceiver with the method of registerReceiver () then it will be sured register ur receiver.

@DIVA Dekho tumhari onReceive tabhi call hoti he jab koi specific action di hui ho. Or tumhare code me action he so har bar register hone pe onReceive() method call hogi hi. Agar koi action tm pass ni karte to hi onReceive() trigger nahi hoti
@PiYusHGuPtA i have studied handler now if i want to use loop because i have 100 images in my json data so can i use handler in for loop so that after every time interval it will show that image on my Ui thread

no actually i want to download a single image then my handler should update UI thread for this change and will display image in imageview similarly when my handler get update about 2nd image then it will update my UI thread
Did anyone encountered such problem. My program is using android speech recognition. On some cell phones it works well. But on phones with default recognition it always recognize one language despite of what language was chosen

Hi guys, I'm not an android dev by any means but I had a quick question regarding webviews. I'm trying to load a website inside of a webview but the javascript for said site isn't firing at all. When I check the site inside browsers on an android device there are no issues but once inside the app it's not working at all. I'm just wondering is there something fundamental I could me messing up with? Cheers

The CONNECTIVITY_ACTION broadcast seems to be sticky on some devices (even though the documentation implies that it is not). This means that when you register the receiver it will immediately call onReceive() with the most recently sent broadcast. Since you are registering and unregistering in onPause() and onResume() you will get a lot of calls to onReceive(). You might want to do this in a different way.
