hello~ I'm not so familiar with JS, and I've been trying to find out something for a while without really getting the result I was looking for. I am using http.get. Is there any way to put the body of the website for which I'm giving the url, into a variable? (extra info: I'm using node and discord.js, so no browsers)

been using something like this:

I wanted to use the text variable outside the var result part, but ofc that wouldn't work. result.value or things that that don't work somehow =/

btw I think I got that snippet off SO, but been a month since and wanted to get back to it. Forgot where I got that code exactly ^^;

You might be more comfortable with a higher level abstraction library for HTTP requests

github.com/sindresorhus/got is pretty straightforward and uses promises

If the jquery script you are using is correct (most probably it is), then probably it is not yet loaded by the time you are referencing variables from it

the cdn is just a replacement of your local jquery lib, so you would have to exchange the src with the CDN one

exclude the php, and include your jquery correct.. you are referncing to a local version, that CANT work on fiddle

just start a new file .html . Include jquery and just try to do an alert(). If that works you go futher and try to include it in your real project

been trying to expand my root partition by a lot to see what is the file/directory that is getting bigger

but it appears that my setup is weird and undocumented

debian LVM with a separate root and home partition. Doesn't sound so weird

but couldn't find anything that appeared to have fairly dangerous steps

like, telling me to delete the root partition
