What's the typical way to load data from a server (say Flask) into AngularJS? For example, at the route /users/1, the account info for User 1 is displayed. I need Angular to know that it's the page for User 1 so it can make GET requests to the API to populate info.
I was thinking of doing 'ng-init = userId = {{ user_id }}', where the braces are Jinja2 templating and not Angular templating and render the template with user_id filled in from the server. But 1) it feels sloppy to initialize data through the html and 2) I can't get it to work anyway
Quick question, how are you supposed to access an object's properties inside itself? All the answers here SO seem to say stuff about how the methods are called etc, but non offered a robust reliable solution...

Quick opinion poll if there are any C++ and JavaScript crossover people around. How do you bind? I'll throw out QtScript as something I know of but have not used beyond idly answering some SO questions about it "because I can". But anyone use anything else, and have a remark like "qtscript sucks because..."

So that's sort of the lens I see embedding through, but Lua--as a language--seemed not interesting.
My "meh" attitudes on JavaScript are known as well, but at least it has a currency by being in the browser, so the Lua idea escapes me. Not that cool and not in the browser...why? No one has really convinced me yet.

What's the rel on the href tags used for? Maybe it's just past my bedtime, but MDN's explanation isn't doing much for me:

@copy They actually use AGG but there's an OpenGL port in a state of "questionable completion". But really, because Rebol "draws everything" (like Qt or what not) all it wants is a bitmap buffer and a few primitives.

@monners Novation X-Station... several years old, but nice amplification on headphone out and lots of other features. Including XLR in, and, well, it's a keyboard.
But of course, plugging those into a cheap audio out won't give you true enjoyment of the sound, insufficient amplification, bad DAC. But I dunno, I think most people can't really hear artifacting in MP3s. Like, you play transients and they can't tell the diff

@monners No. But their durability is high. I'd assume they don't make this model anymore, but, it has been a good purchase. My previous keys when I had more space were O1/W proX and Kurzweil PC88... had a Roland JP-8000 that I let go as well. :-/

@Dramorian I only program in JavaScript grudgingly, I was here to ask about C++ bindings actually. I think the best way to look at or think of StackOverflow isn't necessarily that you get your answer immediately, but if your question is good, an answer will come with time. It's okay to try and say "I'm here, I'm alive" and tell people in chat who might be available that your question is there, but expecting that to change the answer rate might not be a great expectation.

@Dramorian I am eager to solve some things too, the answer might take weeks. Each time you edit your question (hopefully to improve it and focus it and get closer to the solution) it gets popped up a bit in the priority list and more people see it.
