I have a few situations where a View is only used in one method so the var is declared locally. I'm debating whether or not to pull it out as a member field and inject it with ButterKnife.
I had the same thought, I did pull it out in the end. If I could. Sometimes I generate stuff on the fly so I still have to do it the old way and it sucks, it makes it less awesome.
well, I'm just playing around with butterkife on a separate branch. Most likely I'll eventually merge this in, but that's the nice thing about VC: I can throw it all away if I want.
