I am trying to parse an rss website of my university. Everything seems to go fine but at the end, my feed object is always null. Here is the code of my various classes:

I'm new to android development. I've setup Android Studio (very complex process btw), I just don't like that it (gradle) always has something to download.
Right normally I'd have the same image at different sizes, one in each folder. But in this instance I am only targeting a single device, so I tend to stick everything in one folder
i.e. the background image gets put in nodpi because I don't want it to scale at all
I moved some of my images from hdpi to xhdpi and it seemed to alleviate my memory usage. Just wanted to know if moving them is what helped or if I am going crazy =)
@azurefrog of course the event is fired when clicking a button. But my question is: Click one button -> Event is fired -> Store text from button. So far so good. But I would like, another sequence, meaning storing in a variable the first text of the first button, then storing in a variable the second text of the second button clicked. Currently there is only one function, when I click a goat, it create another goat in a Random position.
