i hosted ejabber chat server on Amazon and added two user there , when i tried to connect ejbberd server through Adium it ask for certificate then only its gets connected , now i m developing chat application in swift using Ejabberd server and Xmpp , i configured all code , passed host name and port no : 5222 , but its not connecting to server .

Should i need to write program to fetch server certificate and pass my computer certifacte (.p12) file to server ?? can anyone give me any suggestion on this .

what's the error it's throwing on connect?

is it related to the cert?

@rage my concern is , should we fetch server certificate and pass .p12 certificate then only we can chat is this true or something else i need to configure?

@rage no issue i configured it on Adium client and two user can chat now

now m working on swift code to message and chat

shubank my question is whenever any user is added on adium and then it becomes onlne then it ask our permission that server certificate is not trustable so we press continue button

and it makes them to chat

but how can we manage this in app

since here server is not localhost its remote chat server

?
