I have done some R&D for that
I come to know that there are 2 ways one is with core image and other is with GPUImage

But do not know which is best

no doubt about GPU Image

its far better

so go with it

along with learn openGL little bit it gonna help you to understand it in better way

i always stuck in such situation then i download a library ( from cocoacontrols) and understand it and then i add my flavor (little requirement) to go ahead

Had a quick question.
I have a UICollection view with 5 items on the screen

i now insert a new item at index 0

it works well, but

it animates slide to the right a space for the new item

is there a way to stop this animation?

how u inserting it

let indexPath = IndexPath(item: 0, section: 0)
collectionView.insertItems(at: [indexPath])

thereby causing the other items to shift to the right to make space for it

is there a way to make it not animate to the right?

it depends how u refresh collectionview after insertion

well thats the thing

when you insert, you dont have to refresh

you visually see the cell being inserted on the UICollevtionView

it shifts all the other cells to the right with an animation

and then inserts a new cell into the newly provided space

is there a way to get rid of this animation?

or maybe i should not insert it to begin with..
