For some reason, when I try to read contacts, I'm getting a SecurityException saying it requires android.permission.READ_CONTACTS

but clearly, it's in my manifest. It's within the manifest tag, as it should be, and I'm using 'uses-permission' and not 'user-permission' which is a common mistake.
