from my experience outsourcing, it's worth fighting to get it done in house, argue that it's both a better profit margin and better quality for the $

the initial investment to get you experience in it is small.

It also sets you up to competently lead both sides of development if you grow.

I know you've solved this yourself, but I want to explain how this error happens, since it just happened to me. Basically you're calling hide(), remove(), etc., with a null value. The error isn't obvious, and the stack trace doesn't originate from your own sources when this happens, so it's not...

That party was a shambles and was a huge win for the incumbent govt - it stole loads of votes from the left wing parties that could've been a coalition threat. Though the incumbent still won by miles, so maybe not that much of a threat.

The left is in pretty bad disarray in NZ atm, and the Internet Party only added to that.

@Abdellah Well Robospice works on the idea that most network requests you make can be cached - so you run a request, rotate the Activity, then just run the request again and received the cached response. The problem for our use case was that a) often a request is new and we have no connectivity, b) we assume all data is immediately stale (this is a bad assumption and one we could've fixed fairly simply but eh I wasn't here for that), c) because of a & b, we turned all caching off...

...which is the entire point of using Robospice in the first place.

All of this was built before I arrived.
