Its very easy to get smooth animation (Expand/Collapse) on View

TranslateAnimation anim = null;
if(exp_or_colpse.equals("expand"))

anim = new TranslateAnimation(0.0f, 0.0f, -v.getHeight(), 0.0f);
v.s...
see this.. they have taken translate animation..
or see if only android:animateLayoutChanges="true" works smoothly
An alternative is to use a scale animation with the following scaling factors for expanding:
ScaleAnimation anim = new ScaleAnimation(1, 1, 0, 1);
and for collapsing:
ScaleAnimation anim = new ScaleAnimation(1, 1, 1, 0);
or scale.. see which gives a better effect at the end... :)
I got an error while try to install cirtificate "o change whether a root certificate is trusted, open it in Keychain Access and modify its Trust Settings. New root certificates should be added to the login keychain for the current user, or to the System keychain if they are to be shared by all users of this machine." do you have any idea
