crypto_ is IMO a bad prefix.
If I convert an image (jpg or png) to base64, then it will bigger, or it will have the same size? How much greater will it be?
Is it recommended to use base64 encoded images on my website?

This would get all files in path/to/files with an .swf extension into an array and then sort that array by the file's mtime

The above uses an Lambda function and requires PHP 5....
