i'm amazed at the speed of the david() function compared to beetroot and the slowness of the DT soln.

The OP has obviously internet connection. maybe just dx.doi.org was down for some time?

@Spacedman data.table is inefficient for 10 row data set I guess. I have a feeling that @Arun can come up with a better solution though

@EDi theres no mention of port 8080 in the vignette or the package, so it must be coming from somewhere external... anyway, i don;t care.. :)
