@Petəíŕd-CSC I do not use a userscript, but many do use the one VLAZ linked above. To format the requests in chat, you type cv-pls in tag brackets, like [tag:cv-pls]; the [tag: ] format turns it into a tag linking to that tag on the main SO site. We use cv-pls for our own clerical purposes--there is no "cv-pls" tag on the actual SO site. Other types of requests follow the same format, like del-pls, reopen-pls, review-pls. The pls, if you haven't figured it out yet, stands for "please".

@bad_coder Please just use the "standard" formatting. There's not that much needed beyond what you had already posted, other than a reason why the question should be closed and the [tag:cv-pls]. It is a bit more effort, but not much.

@MrWhite Please see the FAQ about How and why do I need to format my cv-pls (and other requests)? it helps quite a bit to actually include a [tag:cv-pls] in the chat message when bringing questions to the room's attention which you believe should be closed.

again, the room FAQ has the full details but in brief, [tag:cv-pls], add a topic tag like python or java etc so those of us who are unfamiliar with the language don't spend time on stuff we won't be able to judge anyway; and finally, one of the standard close reasons

@JeanneDark That's correct, if they just say [tag:cv-pls] POB <link to question with no activity for 2 years> and don't explain that an exception is being used, others are within their rights to ask/bring up that it's not within 6 months.

@user17242583 Not quite, but close. The Markdown for tags is [tag:the-tag-name], which is [tag:cv-pls] for a cv-pls request. In addition, for a cv-pls request, please use the URL for the question, not a comment on the question.

Essentially, though, you need to use [tag:cv-pls] at the beginning of your message, link to the question, and give us the reason(s) why you think the question should be closed.
